Hello Everyone!

My name is Dayna Hunt and I am a practicing licensed Marriage and Family Therapist located in the East Bay region of Northern California. I work with individuals, couples, families, adolescents and children. Since therapy is a process and the purpose of therapy is to effect change, my goal is to help move my client(s) to a place of expansion by building their inner balance, strength and clarity.

My background is in Counseling Psychology and I have significant experience working in a variety of settings, including schools, agencies and private practice. In addition to my private practice, I am a therapist and program supervisor for a behavioral day treatment intensive program at a private high school and an adjunct faculty college professor.

Specifically, my educational background includes: Master of Science, Counseling Psychology; Marriage and Family Therapist Specialty; Dominican University, San Rafael, California; Bachelor of Science Environmental Horticulture; California Polytechnic State University; San Luis Obispo, California. I am a member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (AAMFT) and am licensed with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.
